  Subject: Opening
  Date: Monday, March 06, 2006 8:04:33 AM
Bill,
Here is the opening I put together. Let me know if you want any
  changes.
I will provide more information by the middle of the week. We are on
schedule to shoot your scenes and Michael's Scenes on Saturday.
  Best Wishes,

  OPENING
[Black Screen]
We hear the voices of happy kids playing on a playground.
TITLE: SEVEN IDEAS FOR SEVEN DAYS
TITLE: MAKING DEMOCRATS ELECTABLE
Fade in on the playground. Focus on two boys. Jeff has Adam in a
headlock and keeps punching him in the gut. Adam's nose is dripping
  blood.
ADAM
I give up. Oowww! You win. Let me go.
Jeff throws Adam to the ground.
JEFF
Now, get up off your ass, so I can teach you a lesson.
Adam looks over his shoulder at Jeff in a moment of defiance.
JEFF
What are you going to do, asshole?
ADAM
  (resigned)
  Nothing.
JEFF
That's what I thought, you little creep!
Jeff kicks Adam a few times and walks away to greet his bully friends
who are cheering. They all leave. A girl, SARAH, approaches Adam.
SARAH
  Are you OK?
ADAM
  What does it look like?
SARAH
Are you sad, because you're hurt?
ADAM
  (after a long pause)
No, I'm sad because I didn't fight back.
Music swells. Fade out.
